About Us
Uttar Dinajpur Agriculture And Farmers Welfare SocietyUttar Dinajpur Agriculture And Farmers Welfare Society is a voluntary non-governmental organization that started its journey in the year 2019 with the approval of all villagers. The villages are underdeveloped areas where most of the villagers could not get facilities for comprehensive cultivation and/or other sources of supported income generators by which they can be self-employed to overcome extreme poverty. The Secretary of our society, Safiquel Haque, has talked with the local administration and with the cooperation of the local administration about the development of the local farmers and rural lands. Our organization has served with different rural developmental activities for the benefit of the poor and underdeveloped classes. In this period, our organization has
started and already completed various social works, relief works, educational programs, cultural programs, health programs, training programs, and various awareness programs.
From the beginning we are involved in our operations mainly in agriculture, extension programs such as the development of fishery, horticulture, etc. All these programs were introduced to motivate farmers to increase the capitalization of uncultivated land which will ensure a smooth income besides normal farming. Our NGO also gained rich experience and confidence in mobilization through various community development projects for their benefit and contribution towards continuity.
Uttar Dinajpur Agriculture And Farmers Welfare Society is registered with the Registrar of Societies and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) under the West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961 bearing the Registration No. — S0009042 dated 12/12/2019. The city and state of registration is Karandighi and West Bengal. The Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2020/0269817.
